Maxillofacial surgeons are extensively trained in providing a wide spectrum of anesthetic options, from local anesthesia with sedation, to general anesthesia. While many procedures are provided in Dr. Villa's office, it may be recommended that "more involved" surgeries be provided in the hospital setting.
